A cancer diagnosis affects more than just the body—it touches every part of life, including emotional, mental, and social wellbeing. Looking after your wellbeing is not a luxury; it’s an essential part of coping with treatment and recovery. When you nurture your mind and body, you build resilience, reduce stress, and improve your overall quality of life.
We organise a range of well being activities throughout the year to support our clients on their cancer journey
In collaboration with MDC Physiotherapy clients can avail of a 6 week exercise class for those recovering or undergoing cancer treatment. Led by a physiotherapy the aim is to help clients to return to baseline activity with a graded approach to both cardiovascular and strength exercises and a supportive environment.
This is a community-based initiative aimed at bringing people together through the local parkrun in Naas, Co. Kildare.
The services are available to people from all ages who have been affected by cancer. The centre can be accessed without a formal referral. All services available in the centre are also free of charge.
Your confidentiality is important to us and we operate strict rules of confidentiality, which are observed by all volunteers and visitors.
