Relay for Life, held on 7 June 2025 at the Curragh, brought the Kildare community together in a powerful demonstration of hope, remembrance, and solidarity. It was the first year that the Little Way Cancer Support Centre attended the event. It was such a wonderful day meeting people from all over Kildare who came together to support and remember those who have been affected by cancer.

We were entertained by the wonderful list of entertainers who had us all up dancing and singing on the day. The event highlight is the candle ceremony which is held at dusk when the Curragh racecourse is lite up by candlelight.  It’s followed by some of Kildare’s best-known choirs coming together to bring some beautiful reflections and songs to the stadium.  We loved being part of this heartfelt celebration of resilience and a reminder that no one should face cancer alone.
